Viewsonic Complaints - The Endless Deluge

There is no end to the lack of responsiveness from Viewsonic when it comes to after-sales service. It is not like they don’t know that they have a HUGE issue. The entire market know it. So what is the secret of their inaction?
Many of these heartfelt Viewsonic customer cries of disillusionment and frustration as sourced from http://tech2.in.com/india/news/monitors/viewsonic-experience-turns-sour-for-some-users/18411/0.
Perhaps the most concerning is the post by a dealer who feels that he has been cheated and has filed a 420 case against the company. Will the next step be that distributors move away from Viewsonic in droves? Will the company NEVER wake up??

Viewsonic Monitor Dead
I had purchased vs11534 which went dead after 6 month ,now despite lodging several complaint it shocking to note that no body is responding .

Now Viewsonic Dealers are Complaining
The viewsonic 19" lcd are also having pixel(dot) problems. these dot problem are right from purchased from distributer.
so end users are not ready to accept these monitors and at last dealer has to bear the cost. in lg and samsung they have zero dot policy and in viewsonic they have 5 dots policy. so accoringly we should file case og 420 as we are giving full payment and company is supply damaged products.

Viewsonic Problems – from day of purchase
The Viewsonic 17" Widescreen LCD monitor that I purchased on 04-Aug-07 showed problems on the date of purchase itself.
I got it repaired within 3 week only to see that the same problem persists. I reported this to the concerned persons, RT outsorcing, The service centre in Trivandrum etc, etc, through mail and telephonically. As for them they have sold their monitor. The service people say that they do not have the authority to replace the faulty monitor, and RT outsourcing do not care to promply reply to the customers. It takes them nearly a week to reply an e-mail. From this it is evident that ther after sales in useless. Even now I am using the same faulty unit. And their slogan "SEE THE DIFFERENCE" and it is apt POOR AFTER SALES SERVICE that is the difference.

Guess? Viewsonic!
lol.....guess which monitor i got recently which conked off in less than a month?

Decision Making-1
After having read this i guess i will never even touch viewsonic products.... i was under a false impression... i will shell out extra for a samsung or lg....

Viewsonic - International Rejects in India?
I get a feeling that Viewsonic had dumped the reject stuff from international market onto un-suspecting Indian consumers to earn high profits. Monitors no body will buy for even $ 100 each in international were sold here, hence the high number of complaints. Every consumer should go to the consumer redressal forum & teach these guys a lesson. Samsung is better- quality and RMA wise.

RT Outsourcing – Outsourcing Incompetence
Have been using 19" monitor wide-screen from Viewsonic...there was a problem within 4 months of its use. The servicing company "RT Outsourcing" replaced it after 20 days and only when I spoke to the lead supervisor...The after sales service is pathetic and viewsonic needs to reconsider its servicing options..
Ashlyn @ Oct 06, 2007

Decision Making-2
Sources say that Viewsonic sold 1.5 lakh LCD monitors in three months and about 70 per cent of them had manufacturing defects and Umang Mehta, regional distributor of Viewsonic has denied any such allegations. This indicates that Umang Mehta just want to safe guard his Job and least bothered about customers satisfaction or company's reputation. Fact is a fact. He must have dared to accept it. Shame on him. FYI... I was in the process of buying a new monitor, now i will discard viewsonic from my list of choice.

Viewsonic Excuses
'"We get about 25-30 complaints per day. Due to high sales, complaints are also high. Moreover, electronics are bound to get damaged during the monsoons due to moisture," says Sanjay Pandita, regional head (west), RT Outsourcing Services Ltd.'. This seems to be a standard excuse of all electronics equipment manufacturer eg Brightpoint which services Nokia phones gives similar excuses to its customers.

  1. My wife and I purchased a Viewsonic n4060w 40 inch LCD HDTV set. I think we paid about 1800 dollars. This piece of junk died after eighteen months, the screen went black.
Viewsonic not only did NOT cover it under warranty, they will not even SELL US repair parts!
I wish an attorney would file a class action lawsuit against this despicable company.
I still have the defective TV and will keep it in hopes that one day I show it off in a court room.
